The Idol - Hopefuls Born Again?

After two insufferable weeks of Beatles songs, Idol returned to its roots last night and the hopefuls chose a song from the year of their births.  Since most were spawned in the 80's with the exception of Giggles, I knew the evening had the possibility of being fierce, not to mention fabulous.  Although the night was somewhat mixed, no one better captured the essence of what this competition is all about as well as the promise for better tomorrows than Kristy Lee Cook. 

She cleverly choose God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood as noted by Simon and blew out the house as well as reminding America what this country can do when we have a real President in the White House as opposed to a race-baiting, yellow-bellied, draft dodging, pot smoking, pardon pimping, disbarred, impeached, tax-raising, soft on crime pervert.  Even though she sold her horse and appears to have the temperament of Goebbels, I have to give Kristy props for that 10/10 master class song choice. 

When I listen to that anthem when it was Morning Again in America, I helps me forget that today two of the leading candidates for the Presidency are shameless liars and frauds, not to mention adept at exploiting the typical far-Left identity politics for advantage.  But, what do I know?  I'm just a typical white person who unlike the Schwarze Kennedy doesn't attend a church for 20 years where an avowed racist acts as a minister.

After being silent on this issue, Hillary yesterday decided she would direct some sniper fire towards Obama when she chided him about his long-held affiliation with a man who thinks Americans deserved to be slaughtered on 9/11.  However, her attack rings hollow as does everything else she says.  After all, she was just trying to take attention away from the fact that she got caught in another lie once again when she claimed she dodged sniper fire in Bosnia during a visit when she was First Ho.  For once, the Left-wing media exposed her claim as the abominable lie that it was.  After all, she's about as much of a war hero as John Francois Kerry.

Perhaps I'm just a typical White Person, but the only bullet she's ever been near is the one that god lodged in Vince Foster's head.  No wonder the former Clinton loyalist, Bill Richardson, endorsed Obama.  James Carville may view him as Judas, but doesn't that make him a typical Democrat.  Isn't this the party that gave us the likes of Abbie Hoffman and other anti-American radicals who betrayed their country in favor of their collectivist ambitions.  Let's not forget the treasonous scum bag and liar Alger Hiss who the Left still defends, even though it is patently obviously that he was a Communist sympathizer and spy.

Unlike the horrible damage this crowd has inflicted on this Shining City on a Hill, the 1980's was a decade that represented America's economic and cultural renaissance.  America's economy roared back after the Democrat Party destroyed it with gas lines, high inflation, double digit unemployment, social engineering, timid foreign policy and a demoralized and under financed military.  Unlike the 80's, the 90's ended with the collapse of the false economy of the Clinton era and the death of 3,000 innocent American civilians at the hands of some of the most incompetent and corrupt hacks. 

Who would have thought that a horse selling blond with a heart of steel like Kristy could invoke such memories? After all, music from the 1980s is so good it might even cause Heather Mills to grow back her leg. On the other hand, the Mail Order Bride is a totally different story.  She was a biter as a child and bit the dust even worse last night with a dreadful rendition of Alone that rates at best a 5.5/10.  To add insult to injury, Ramiele wore hoochie momma shorts that were hiked up to her neck.  We also discovered that she was born in Saudi Arabia and made me question whether she is a plant of the Islamofacists.  It may be too late for her to strap a bomb to her chest since she is in serious risk of going home.  But she should not despair.  She could easily find a job in the Democrat Party since their leaders seem so enamored of Ward Churchill's thinking as evidenced by Obama's close affiliation with his minister. 

Jason, like the Mail Order Bride, was born in 1987 and when they showed his baby pictures, he looked clean and normal.  It only highlighted how disturbing those dreadlocks are, but I guess it doesn't matter since he appeals to the girls.  His rendition of Fragile was boring and safe as noted by Paula and rates at a 6.5/10.  I would not be surprised if he ends up in the bottom three as he really needs to step up his game.

At least he took Simon's comments to heart and admitted that he might be a tad lazy.  But America isn't going to tolerate someone with no work ethic.  It is only the far radical Left that endorses sloth and shiftlessness as noted by their policies towards the Black America.  Once again, I might just be a typical White Person, but what else explains why the prisons are filled with young black males who have been victimized by the condescending handouts of the Left that come in the form inadequate public education, welfare, affirmative action and quotas?  It wasn't Whitey that infected them with AIDS as suggested by Obama mentor Jeremiah Wright, it was the cultural depravity of Black America that has been fostered and enabled by the Far Radical Left and the race-baiting poverty pimps who the racial healer, Obama, supports.

Syesha Mercado did well last night with a 7/10 performance of If I Were Her Woman.  She even did the baby cry last night in what I viewed as a desperation move to get America's attention.  It was haunting and disturbingly on cue, unlike some of her performances.  But at the end of the day, Simon accurately noted that there is a limit to her vocal ability and she will not be long for this competition.  As for the junior blogger, she was unimpressed and yelled at the TV after the performance:  "Who do think you are with those fancy earnings?"

Next on stage came Isaac XL who chose a ballad so that he could showcase how absolutely dreadful he is when he is not running around stage pretending to be Taylor Hicks.  I'll admit I was no fan of Taylor, but to compare him to Chikezie is an outrage.  Taylor did have some pipes and talent, unlike this guy who was actually born on 9/11/95.  How ironic is that since he seems destined to return to his job at LAX working for the TSA?  This performance of If Only For One Night rates at 4.5/10 for me and 1/10 from the junior blogger and should result in his demise, but you never know what America will do.

When Sunshine came on stage dressed in funereal black, I knew that things weren't going to go well.  She even chose to sing from the portfolio of the sex-crazed Sting, another has-been loser whose very existence sickens every fiber of my soul.  At least Brooke, born on 6/2/83 is a Gemini.  But her rendition of Every Breath You Take was not her best and rates at 6.5/10.  Of course the failed OJ wannabee Randy took great pleasure in attacking her with his racist rant, but our Sunshine withstood his vitriol.  I hope she gets back in the game next week, but at the same time I still saw some power to her performance.  However, flubbing the first line and starting over is a nonstarter in this competition.

But don't you just love when she plays piano? She could make flowers bloom in Antarctica.  However, whoever straightened he curly locks and made her wear black should be flogged to death with a rusty hammer.  Our Sunshine should never be attired in the such a drab color, which represents that goth mentality of the far radical Left who like nothing better than to kill babies and euthenize the elderly.

Following Brooke, Outback Idol performed and went back to what worked for him back in Hollywood Week when he chose a Queen Song, We are the Champions.  His performance was the best ever for him and rates an 8.5/10.  But why is it that the only thing he can sing is Queen?  He may be a one trick pony and I don't care how competitive he is.  He can't win a competition with such a limited portfolio when he is up against some strong contenders. 

Simon noted that for the first time he saw star potential in Michael Johns, but I beg to differ.  He will never win this competition with a personality like his.  He reminds me of a smug and arrogant bully who flips over a table when he loses at cards to his sister, as noted in his pre-performance video.  He better learn to loose graciously and not try to tear down others so he can win.  Otherwise, we might be calling him Outback Hillary.

Isn't she the symbol of all that is wrong with unbridled competition?  She's intent on destroying the Democrat Party and providing McCain with the Presidency in her scourged earth attacks on Obama.  But it is more than clear that she is now preparing for another run in 2012 and hoping that McCain is a one-termer since she has about as much chance of winning the nomination in 2008 as Eliot Spitzer has.

Once again, Carly Smithson displayed that hideous tattoo and wore a black dress that highlighted her unsightly thighs and protruding belly.  Don't tell me the Lion King impregnated her?  Let's hope those two don't have the opportunity to deface a young child.  Her performance was not as bad as the judges indicated since she has good vocals.  She rates at a 7/10 for her performance of Total Eclipse of the Heart, but she lacks any emotional depth.  Of course, the judges blabbered on trying to desscribe her problem, but in America's living rooms it is more than clear.  We don't like a a slightly overweight cold fish with tattooed arms and cankles!

On the other hand, America loves Giggles and feels his pain since he has to deal with his stage Dad who the cameras flashed on many time during his performance of You're the Voice, which rates at an 8/10.  The song choice was way off, but the vocals were once again great.  America will love the video where he danced with his sister.  But David Archuleta will never get to his prom with that overbearing bore of a father who is ruining our young hopeful.

During Beatles Week One, he made David cry and this week it was clear he was behind that Satantic theme park-like song choice.  Simon bluntly noted as the end that he was certain that David didn't choose the song and that others may have had a hand it.  Like Saint Francis, Simon protects the innocent from the thugs.  I so want to call Child and Family Services and put a stop to this hateful bully.  He's destroying his son in the tradition of the Lohan's and Spear's.  It's painful to watch.

David Cook is his own man and makes his own choices as noted by his brave and brazen rendition of Billy Jean, which rates at a 9.5/10.  I'll admit I don't like his big skull or his attitude, but at the same time, I've got to give him credit for one of the most creative and distinctive performances of the night.  It was absolutely brilliant and he is no longer a dark horse in this competition.  In the words of Kellie Pickler, he is a full fledged "ballsy" and America will love that.

Tonight, we get the results and the return of Kimberly Locke who had to battle two titans of this competition during Season 2:  Mr. Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken.  She was no match for those two Idol luminaries, but I'd rather have her perform for us than has-beens of yesterday like Neil Diamond and Mariah Carey.

As for who goes tonight, it's hard to say, but I hope it is Isaac XL.  I have had enough of him and his uppity attitude.  He can't help himself and sassed Simon again last night.  Enough is enough and he must GO!

Schwarze Kennedy's controversial minister has apparently 'gone to ground' claiming security reasons so that the daft and short attention span mass public can forget about him until November. That in and of itself should elevate the publics' radar regarding Obama but you know that's not going to happen.

I thought lovely manboy Castro positively beatific in his performance of "Fragile". There, I had to say it, let my IQ drop several points, it was worth it.
